Max is going to be a big Brother!

We are excited to announce that we are expecting Sughroue Tot #2 due late September! We are so excited and can't wait for this new chapter to begin in our lives. Max seems so excited! He and daddy both think its a girl, but I think its another boy. All we care about is having a happy healthy little baby. I am currently 10 weeks so that means I have 30 more to go! That seems like such a long time but I know it will fly by. I just want to thank god for blessing me with such a wonderful husband, son and new baby to be! We are truly blessed. I had my first OB appt last week and everything went great, we heard the babys fast heartbeat and say the little bean on the monitor, the doctor assured us everything looked great. I am excited for my next appt in 3 weeks, especially since it will be another sono appt. It really eases my mind to be able to see that little baby and hear its heart beat. The gift of life is truly beautiful. Pics to come soon! Thank you friends for all of your support and prayers, its going to be a busy year around here!

ITS BEEN A WHILE....

I know its been months since I updated this thing, so sorry for the delay, things have just been so busy! We just finished up Max's big boy room this past weekend and I figured what a great time to update and post some pics of the finished project! The pics aren't the greatest because they were taken by my phone but you can still see them pretty well. Max loves his new bed! He is all about cars, trucks, trains and airplanes so this theme was perfect! The second he saw it he started jumping up and down saying my big boy room, my big boy bed, yay!!!! It was super cute!
Things are going good, just same ole stuff going on. Max is getting to be so big and is really chatting up a storm. He has his moments when he wants to tell me no and throw himself on the floor, but for the most part he is a really good boy. We just enrolled him in "toddler time" with our local activities center and man did he love it! Today was our first day to go and they had a big bounce house with balls and mats and mini trampolines and huge building blocks all set up for the toddlers to play with. He loved it! They also offer other classes there such as music and dance and gymnastics classes and sports classes, so I think we may be looking into that a little later. Well its time for me to do some work and then hit the hay, let me know what you think of the new room!

Choo Choo Ride

Well this past Sunday Max went on his first Train ride! Nick's parents had some tickets to ride the train from Alliance Area to Gainesville and then back. They only had 4 tickets at the time so Nick, his mom and dad and Max all went. I was sad I missed it, but he had such a blast! I decided to go visit my parents for the day, and while it was nice to get away for a few hours, I still was really sad I missed it. Max LOVED it. He loves trains! He did so well considering he was on it for 2.5 hours. They handed out little conductor hats and goldfish and rice krispies and fruit roll ups. Needless to say, both my boys were in heaven!

New Things Max can do!

Well in the past few weeks Max has learned to count to ten all by himself! He says one, two, free, pour, pive, six, eben, eight, nine, ten, yaaayy!!! It is sooo cute! I will get a video and post it soon. He also has learned to spell his name and if you ask him how old he is he says "I two"...So stinkin cute! He is my biggest helper, he loves to help me do laundry! Man if he catches me doing it without him he gets very upset! LOL. He loves to give hugs and kisses and say I love you! He is such a sweet boy. He has his moments of getting upset when things don't go his way too! He always says Thank you and knows just the right time to say it. He knows all his letters and what they look like, we are working on singing them in order now. He knows his basic colors, red, blue, yellow, green, orange, pink, purple. He also knows what each number (1 to 10) is and looks like. We have this baby organics first 100 words books with pictures and words, he can tell you what every picture is! It really amazes me how much he can say and understand. Every night his daddy puts him to bed and he says goodnight to everyone he knows, he goes down the list of people, its so sweet! He currently has a runny nose and the sneezes, poor guy, he gets those allergies from me. Once he gets over that we will go to the dr for his 2 year check up a little late, and Ill post his stats as soon as I know. Hes such a big boy and so smart for his age! Even the photographer that took his pic commented on how smart he was cause of how much he knew, she said she had a 3 year old son who didnt know half the things he did. (sorry I have to brag on him a little bit) I just love him so much and am so proud of him! I can't believe how fast these 2 years have gone by! Well off to bed...Have a great night!

MAX'S 2ND BDAY PARTY!

Hey guys,

Sorry its been awhile...Its been crazy around here with the birthday party and other things going on. I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone who came and celebrated Maxs 2nd birthday with us. We had a blast! Those of you who couldn't make it were missed!

He had such a blast! We ended up doing a choo choo train theme...He loves trains! We rented a train bounce house, that was his favorite part of the whole day! He jumped and jumped and jumped. Needless to say he slept soooooooooooooooooooooo good that night! Haha!

We had such a great day. We had tons of food, fun, family and friends. We are so blessed to be surrounded by so many friends and family that loves us and our son! Thanks again for everything. Max got so many gifts. He got things for his new room, which we are in the process of working on. I will post pics once we are finished. He got lots of new toys and clothes. That kid is growing so fast, I swear he wears a new size shoe every other month! My parents bought him a big train table that came with a train set and everything. He loves it!!!!!! BYE BYE BINKY!!

WELL ITS BEEN OVER A WEEK AND NO BINKY!! WAHOOOOO!!! I ALWAYS SAID THAT I WAS GOING TO TAKE IT AWAY BEFORE HE TURNED 2. WELL WE STARTED BY ONLY GIVING IT TO HIM AT NIGHT AND FOR NAPS. THEN ONE NIGHT WE JUST DIDNT GIVE IT TO HIM, AND SURPRISINGLY HE DIDN'T WAKE UP CRYING FOR IT. SO THEN WE JUST DECIDED BYE BYE FOR GOOD. ONE DAY LAST WEEK HE WAS REALLY FUSY SO I GAVE IN AND OFFERED IT TO HIM AND TO MY SURPRISE HE HANDED IT BACK TO ME AND SAID "NO WAY". I WAS SHOCKED! I KEPT TELLING HIM BEFORE THAT BINKYS WERE YUCKY AND FOR BABIES AND THAT HE WAS A BIG BOY! WELL THE OTHER DAY HE SAID "NO BINKY FOR BABIES" IT WAS SO CUTE! IT REALLY IS AMAZING HOW FAST THEY CATCH ON AND SOMETIMES I MEAN SOMETIMES ACTUALLY LISTEN TO WHAT YOU SAY. LOL.

I WOULD ALWAYS THINK TO MYSELF OH I DONT WANT THE DAY TO COME WHEN WE TAKE IT AWAY, BUT TO MY SURPRISE IT WAS SO MUCH EASIER THAN I EVER THOUGHT! SO THOSE PARENTS OF YOU OUT THERE IN THE SAME BOAT, DONT WORRY, THERE IS HOPE!
